Jim Nelson - Long Neck Banjo, Vocals

Long time San Francisco balladeer, Jim puts a very maritime stamp on the bands recordings.  He performs on a custom long-neck banjo and is always in costume. 

JIm has performed music for over 40 years and has been featured on the last six Black Irish Albums.  His voice has been described as rich and soulful as well as haunting.
